One of my favorite parts about running Watch Studies is working with amazing independent brands. Combine exceptional timepieces with novel design concepts and straight up good humans, and it’s guaranteed to be a good time.

Working with Jacob from Ianos Watches has been no exception. I had the distinct privilege of working with him for the launch of the unmistakable Mihanikos last year and when he reached out to refill the queue again – this time including the bold and beautiful Avyssos – I couldn’t resist.

Best of all – he was kind enough to let me share the shooting process from start to finish with all of you! To everyone who has asked me to share more behind-the-scenes looks at how I work, this is a series you’re going to enjoy.

You can find the first 2 parts of this 4-part series already live for Watch Studies members on Patreon:

A big thank you to Jacob at Ianos Watches for partnering with me to create this content series! Be sure to follow @ianoswatches on Instagram to see the results of the photoshoot in the coming weeks.

Enjoy!
