One of my favorite editing techniques in watch photography is to desaturate the steel of the watches in my shots. It’s a bit of an opinionated move, but it has a strong visual impact. It’s also a great example of why mixing temperatures in photography is a powerful strategy, since desaturating steel often gives it a cooler look.
