The day that I start giving you fashion advice might be the day you stop and question everything I've ever told you. Unfortunately, today I'm going to be toeing that line as I make some passing suggestions on things you should wear while taking photos of your black dialed watches. You may or may not thank me later. Anyone you live with will definitely not thank me later.

The good thing about black dials is that they're sleek, stealthy, and fit nearly any occasion. The downside is that they're prone to casting reflections off the crystal of anything (or anyone) looking directly at it – like an innocent watch enthusiast with a camera in hand.

To help you minimize the unwanted presence of faces (and cameras, and white ceilings, and pretty much anything around you...), there are a handful of things you can do. Before you dive in though, you're going to need to double check your commitment to doing whatever it takes for the gram. You will look silly. But your shots will be brilliant. Enjoy!
