XF56mm F1.2 R lens by Fujifilm
If the 35mm is my all-purpose go-to prime lens, the 56mm is my go-to specialist. As a 85mm full-frame equivalent, this is technically considered a portrait lens. And while I’ve certainly pointed it at a few faces, I love this lens for lifestyle photography.
The 56mm is a depth monster. Not only in its silky smooth and super shallow f1.2 aperture, but also in its long focal length’s ability to let me shoot through and past objects towards my subject. Hello, foreground depth!
